All our New Zealand sheepskins are from sheep that have been roaming the fields freely and that are cared for by experienced farmers. The sheepskins are a natural byproduct of the local food production, as all sheep are raised for the meat industry. But the sheepskins are not only sustainable, but also high quality. Shake the sheepskin regularly and air it outdoors in the shade. Brush gently with a wire brush to lift the wool. Spot-clean with a damp cloth and a mild wool detergent, and keep it away from direct sunlight and radiators.
