The sheepskin from English has kept its natural colour and shape so every single skin is unique. Consequently, this picture here only shows an example of our English sheepskins. Those are extraordinary soft, probably the softest sheepskin of our selection. The reason is that the hair is very thin but there are relatively more hair on every square centimetre what makes it very thick.
The hair is naturally straight and between 2 and 3 inches long. The sheepskin was made out of one piece and has a size of at least 40x24 inches. It is large compared to our other sheepskins but still has a practical size to fit on diverse furniture.
Use
English sheepskin is ideal to make a chair more comfortable because of its thick hair. You can also put it on a sofa, a bench or an armchair and it will be a highlight in your living-room or dining room. The dark brown fits with many different colours and colour schemes.
The colour is natural so you do not have to worry that it will vanish if you put the sheepskin in the direct sunlight. You can hence have the sheepskin as well outside for example on a bench on your balcony or in the garden. Especially on a fresh morning or for a summer night it is nice to have something warm to sit on.
Origin
The soft English climate gives the sheepskin its principle characteristic as they walk around over green fields all their live. Their well-being is a core part of our philosophy and to ensure that we only work together with experienced farmers that share our values.
We get the sheepskins as natural by-product of the local meat production. We turn them into valuable products and in this way make sure that no animal product is wasted. Our products have a high quality and can last for a very long time because this is in our eyes the responsible treatment of animal products.
Care
We suggest that you regularly shake your sheepskin out and brush it. You can also clean it with a vacuum cleaner on a low level but avoid washing it as this would affect the structure of the sheepskin. If there are spots in your sheepskin you can remove them by using a damp cloth or if they are already dry you can use a brush.
